Refund policy
for usernames on spo.me

All sales are final. We don't refund payments for usernames, in whole or in part, and we don't cancel orders, wherever you live.
What this means
- A username is yours as soon as your payment is complete. By placing an order, you ask for it straight away, and you agree that you can't then withdraw from the purchase or cancel it.
- If you pay more than the amount, the extra isn't refunded.
- If your payments don't reach the amount by the deadline, the order lapses, the name is released, and what you paid isn't refunded. A payment that arrives after the deadline doesn't count, even if the name is still free, and isn't refunded either.
- Payments sent to an order that is already complete or has lapsed aren't refunded, and native tokens sent to an order's address aren't returned.
- No refund is due if you delete a username, if we suspend or release one under the terms of service, or if spo.me closes.
Before you pay
- Check the name, the amount and the address in the console.
- Send the whole amount, in ADA only, to your order's address within 60 minutes. A payment still counts if the block that holds it is made no more than 10 minutes after that, by the time recorded on the Cardano blockchain.
- If your exchange or wallet takes its fee out of what you send, top up the difference to the same address before the time runs out.
- A payment shows in the console about 3 minutes (10 blocks) after its block is made. Wait for it rather than paying again.
Made a mistake?
Contact us. We don't give refunds, but we'll help where we can: for example, if you deleted a username by mistake and nobody has bought it since, we may be able to give it back to you. We can't promise to.
